The Cash Money Records superstar called the radio station from jail and said his single was recorded before turning himself in for his year long sentence. In an interview with radio personality Funkmaster Flex, Wayne said that he will release his EP on his birthday, September 27.
"Yes, it's gonna drop before Carter IV, only on the Internet," Wayne said. "This is stuff that I recorded right before I came here."
