The song will debut on the U.S. iTunes store at midnight. "Hold It Against Me" is the official lead single from her upcoming seventh studio album, which is set to hit stores in March, her record company, Jive, said in a statement.

Spears last released new music in 2009. "Hold It Against Me" was produced by Spears' long-time collaborators Max Martin and Dr. Luke. Fans will be able to purchase it on iTunes until January 18.

On December 2, Spears' 29th birthday, the singer wrote on her official Twitter page, "I'm almost done with my new album and it will be coming out this March. I AM IN L-O-V-E WITH IT!"

Spears has in recent years rebuilt an image many thought was forever tarnished by rehab stints for substance abuse, excessive partying and a now-infamous head-shaving incident from 2007.

Her comeback is on a steady track with appearances on 'Glee', a successful tour and an endorsement deal with Elizabeth Arden, putting her at No. 3 on Forbes' list of Hollywood's highest-earning women with $64 million.

Pink Floyd, the progressive British band, has reached a deal with its long-time record label EMI, Reuters reported. The group signed a five-year contract that allows the release of individual Pink Floyd tracks online, according to cbc.ca. The deal ends all legal disputes between the band and EMI.

"Pink Floyd is one of the most important and influential bands of all time, and I know I speak for everyone at EMI when I say that it is a pleasure to have the opportunity to work with them," EMI Group CEO Roger Faxon said in a statement.

"Cannibal" the companion to her January debut CD "Animal" the 23-year-old takes it too far, and her desperation for attention and shock value is obvious. On the title track, which starts with the singer panting like an animal, Ke$ha talks about drinking blood, eating a person's liver, sucking teeth and using fingers to stir tea over a pulsating beat. While that's already disturbing, Ke$ha continues with this: "Be too sweet and you'll be a goner, yup I'll pull a Jeffrey Dahmer."

According to a press release from Ke$ha's label, RCA, there are eight new songs on the album (including smash first single "We R Who We R") produced by the likes of Max Martin, Benny Blanco and Bangladesh and a new remix.

In an interview earlier this month with Entertainment Weekly, Ke$ha said she aimed to create "youthful and irreverent movement of the kids" with Cannibal, and describes the music on the disc as good, positive and "fun as sh**. " And judging by the song titles alone, we're inclined to believe her.

Natalia Kills new album "Perfectionist"

The Perfectionist is the debut studio album by British-born Latin singer, songwriter, MC, actress, and director, Natalia Kills. It is set to be released this winter, although no release date has been set in stone as of yet. Mirrors, the first official single was released on August 10, 2010.

Natalia has been steadily building a buzz with her music, since transitioning from a radio and television acting career several years ago. In 2008 she became the top-ranked unsigned artist on MySpace music, and soon after, will.i.am signed her to a record deal. The two have been working together on the appropriately-titled 'Perfectionist' album ever since.

2010 Boise Music Festival!!!!!!

The Boise Music Festival will bring back a free, family-friendly celebration to Ann Morrison Park on July 24. The 12-hour event will showcase more than 40 bands, including main stage headliners Bret Michaels and the Backstreet Boys, as well as Macy Gray, Green River Ordinanceand Ryan Star. Four local stages will showcase area musicians all day.

"There will be plenty of things to do all day long, so we are hoping the public attends early and makes an all-day activity out of it," said event coordinator Mike Owens of Peak Broadcasting.

Still, the main attraction will be Michaels, who goes on stage at 8:40 p.m. A brain hemorrhage, a minor stroke and non-stop reality TV exposure have transformed him into a megastar.

Michaels recently released a country-laced solo CD to mediocre reviews, but don't sweat that: His setlist will be heavy on rocked-up Poison favorites such as "Talk Dirty To Me" and "Something to Believe In." Michaels also has covered Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Sweet Home Alabama" and Sublime's "What I Got" during recent concerts.

About 75,000 tickets have been given away to the festival; tickets are available by listening to radio stations owned by Peak Broadcasting (Wow 104.3, Mix 106, Kiss 103.3, Lite 107.9 and KIDO 580/630). A limited number of tickets will be distributed at the gate early in the morning. However, a ticket is not required to get into the festival, and you can enter anytime. But you must have a ticket to get directly in front of the main stage or into the beer gardens.

Parking inside the park will be reserved for vendors and sponsors, but there will be five shuttles running throughout Boise picking up at Boise State parking lots, Downtown parking garages at 8th and Main streets, Boise Towne Square mall near the old Mervyn's location, 8th and Broad streets in BoDo, and multiple hotels in the Valley including Cambria Suites off Vista Avenue.

After for many months of waiting of the next album of Taylor Swift, here it goes. The new album "Speak Now", will hit stores October 25, Swift excitedly informed fans. She noted that the album's title is a theme for the entire project: "Track by track, each song is a different confession to a different person."

The first single, "Mine," will be released mid-August. Swift explained that the song is about her tendency to run from love, as well as her hopes of finding someone to make her believe in love. "I'm never going to go past hoping that love will work out. Even if it seems really hard," she told her fans.

She confirmed rumors that a video was shot in Maine two weeks ago for the single, adding that Maine is "the most beautiful place," and that she would like to retire there.

Swift also revealed that the album will contain 14 songs, all of which she wrote completely on her own. "The lack of cowriters didn't happen on purpose, it just sort of happened that way," she said, adding, "I get my best ideas at three a.m. in Arkansas."

The 48-year-old musician performed with his band Friday night at New Meadowlands Stadium. "Jon Bon Jovi sustained a torn calf muscle," his publicist told in Website. "Jon made light of the injury and went on to close the show with their hit, 'Living On a Prayer.' The band ended the night together, thanking the capacity hometown crowd, and assisting Jon off the stage. The injury will not prevent Bon Jovi from playing any of their upcoming stadium dates this summer."

Bon Jovi’s performance Sunday night at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center opened up with their unreleased song “This is Our House” being played through the speakers. The crowd rose to its feet, the noise deafening, and when the band took the stage they made the SPAC amphitheatre their house for the next two hours.

Jennifer Lopez has canceled a concert planned for the Turkish-occupied part of Cyprus after criticism that the appearance would make a political statement. But the plans drew criticism, including from the US-based American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association, which claimed the concert would lend credence to the 1974 invasion by Turkey, which resulted in a partition of the island.

The 16-year-old singer Jovit Baldivino told ABS-CBN News that he is planning to buy a vacant lot for his family, send his siblings to school and help his parents financially.The first PGT grand winner, who hails from Batangas, also advised other aspiring and struggling singers not to stop dreaming.Baldivino has long been a fan of Pineda. The former even chose the Journey song, “Faithfully,” as his audition piece for the talent search last February. Many have said the two sound alike when they sing and Baldivino had always dreamt of singing a duet with his idol.

Pineda released mediocre-selling albums in the Philippines in the ‘90s prior to being discovered by the original Journey members. Way before that, and for many years, he performed regularly at several hole-in-the-wall venues outside Manila.

Pineda, who is in town after recording a new album with Journey, trekked 3 kilometers to bring food, slippers, hygiene products and toys to 100 kids in an impoverished area in Barangay Bagong Silangan, Sitio Bangkal, Quezon City. Pineda, together with volunteers from the Arnel Pineda Foundation, gave some basic reading lessons to the children.

Rihanna’s next album may be as good as Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’, according to Def Jam vice president Bu Thiam.
“Rihanna is coming along incredibly,” Thiam wrote. “I’m trying to push her to where every song will be a hit from one to 12. I’m talking about NO album fillers. Our bar for this album is Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’.Rihanna’s album, due next year, includes collaborations with Stargate, Ester Dean, Mel & Mus and Rock City. Ne-Yo, Taio Cruz and The-Dream are also thought to be involved.

“She’s great to work with and very hands on with every song that’s being written and produced,” he added. “She has visual concepts for just about every song. It’s already giving me the feel of a timeless album, and right now is her time.”

50 Cent said he was inspired by dance music while touring overseas. Now that he's in the U.S., on the Invitation Tour, the G-Unit team captain said he has a whole other muse for a completely different album. "I started working on it," 50 said last week in Los Angeles.

"I been working on writing to a concept for "Black Magic" (is the upcoming fifth studio album by American rapper 50 Cent)... I recorded 19 songs. Then when I got back to the U.S., I started writing to a different concept. I spoke to Em. He called me when I was starting in Detroit."

"We'll probably launch it in the heat of the next bout," Fif said. "It'll probably be the biggest fight in the history of the sport."
